I can across this song while watching a show/TV series on Netflix. The melody caught my ear and I wanted to learn more about the song and the band. The Weepies released their first album in 2003. The band name came from many sources but one those sources were these old movies that were called weepies, where you could basically be guaranteed that if you needed a good cry, you could go and see one of these and bring your handkerchief and have a good time.
